Sir Robert Malpas |
Sir Malpas began his career at ICI, where he spent 30 years, becoming a Director in 1975. His other directorships have included, managing director of BP Plc (1983-1989), chairman of Powergen (1989-1990) and chairman of the Cookson Group Plc (1991-1998). Graduating in 1948 from Durham with a first class degree in mechanical engineering, he has since gained six honorary degrees. He was awarded the Spanish Order of Civil Merit in 1967, and in 1975 a CBE for services to export. Sir Robert was knighted in 1998 for his services to industry and to science and technology. |

Hessel Lindenbergh |
Mr Lindenbergh began his career in 1971 at Philips after which he worked at ABN (now ABN AMRO). In 1983 he joined ING where he was member of the board from 1992. Since his retirement in 2002 he has various non-executive board positions, including NIB Capital, Numico, Petroplus, Deutsche Borse, DHV, University of Amsterdam, and recently added to this list ABN AMRO/ Fortis. Mr Lindenbergh holds degrees in Physics and in Business Administration. |

Mr Zaanen is professor of theoretical condensed matter physics at the Instituut-Lorentz. As a creative professor he is uniquely positioned to inspire the Capital Tools research team. Recently he was awarded the Spinoza prize, the most prestigious Dutch science award. |

Rob Grimberg, managing director |
Rob is the founder of the company, is responsible for the research and development and its overall strategic management. Rob has extensive experience in credit and market risk modelling and management, IT and securitisation. He holds a MSc.in theoretical physics. |
